Time to go green

We all know that the preference for 'going green' or being eco-friendly has grown tremendously over the past few years, so perhaps it is no surprise that trend forecasters have predicted the colour of 2013 will be green.

The world-renowned authority on color, Pantone, have chosen a beautiful emerald green for their colour of the year.

Interior designers are also exploring different shades of green,
from leafy mid greens

to aquatic blue greens.

Green is the color of Spring, nature and rejuvenation. It is said to renew energy, restore a sense of well-being and provide a sanctuary from the stresses of modern living.

We simply love it!

If you have visited the Love from Rosie website, you might have noticed that we have quite a lot of green coloured items in our shop.
This country style Chicken Wire Wall Cabinet is a particular favourite of ours.

We also adore this beautiful Pale Green Shabby Chic Mirror

Why not try introducing some on-trend green accessories to your decor to give your home an instant update.

Have fun experimenting with green!

Snow days

This week has been a very cold one for us...Brrr!

We've had freezing temperatures and plenty of snow here in Wales.
For the past few days we have been memorized by the snow fall and have enjoyed making snowmen and snow angels with the children.

Although the snow does look very pretty, we must admit we are now looking forward to enjoying some milder weather.

Hopefully it won't be long until the daffodils start popping up and carpets of blue bells cover the country side.

Oh we are looking forward to Spring!

Until then we are going to stay wrapped up warm with a lovely cup of tea.

2013 is going to be a great year

Now that Christmas is behind us and the New year celebrations are over we are busy preparing for the year ahead.

We have sourced lots of fabulous new stock for Spring and are eagerly awaiting the deliveries.

We will be introducing a beautiful new range of kitchenware, attractive home accessories and unique handmade items plus some fantastic original vintage pieces.

To make sure you are the first to see it, keep checking our website www.lovefromrosie.co.uk

This year we also plan to hit the road and take Love from Rosie on tour.

We will be popping up around the country at summer fairs and festivals.   The hardest part is choosing which ones to go to!  (All suggestions welcome)

There are so many opportunities for us to explore this year. It is such an exciting time for us!

We hope 2013 brings you lots of love and happiness.
